MISSION
Safety and civility through education and involvement are crucial as we gather more information about what is happening in our communities and our world, rather than addressing issues after they arise. These programs are designed to provide civility education and raise awareness in the public about the prevention and avoidance of conflicts.
"Have a blast with Granddad" takes a proactive approach to personal safety training and awareness, targeting individuals from all walks of life, as no one is immune to becoming a victim. Our approach features educational opportunities that promote awareness, develop knowledge and skills for conflict avoidance, seek resolutions, and acquire information. Additionally, we aim to foster positive personal and civic values, including behavior among our youth, while promoting personal involvement and focusing on safety awareness for kids.

Our mission is to harness the enormous positive potential of the youth of the world towards a single common goal that is universally acceptable: promoting civility education, enhancing personal safety training, and increasing safety awareness for kids.

Dr. Dillon received the Distinguished Leader award and has been named a World Civility Ambassador by I Change Nations, reflecting his commitment to civility education. In 2019, he was honored with the Black Belt Speakers 'Sharing my Voice' award, became a certified Black Belt Speaker, and received an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities from United Graduate College and Seminary International. Dr. Dillon's notable accomplishments include: • Being featured in Karate International Magazine Who’s Who in the Martial Arts Elite 1992 • Serving as the Charter Chairman of the Tri State Regional Black Belt Association from 1985-86 • Being twice inducted into the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame as School of the Year in 1991 and Instructor of the Year in 1994 • Being inducted into the World Head of Family Sakeship Council International Hall of Fame, where he was named Master Instructor of the Year in both 1996 and 1998 • Receiving recognition from the Boys Club of America for reorganizing self-defense programs aimed at enhancing personal safety training for youth in 1975 • Retiring from the electrical utility industry after 32 years of service, during which he trained as an industrial firefighter and became a medical first responder certified with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security. Dr. Dillon also received the Excellence In Action Award, further underscoring his dedication to safety awareness for kids.

A BLAST WITH GRANDDAD GLOBAL INITIATIVE
Have a Blast with Granddad is a truly unique concept focusing on civility education, personal safety training, fitness, and nutrition for kids of all ages. The goal of this program is to enhance self-esteem, confidence, and positive motivation in children around the globe. As the kids are our future, let’s work together to promote civility in every nation.
This program actively engages both parents and kids by demonstrating the do’s and don’ts of safety awareness for kids, covering areas such as personal safety, home, school, playground, water, vacation, fitness, nutrition, and tailored programs for various situations.
Additionally, programs for teens, college students, women, corporate entities, and professionals are also available.
The initiative is spearheaded by Greg Dillon, who has dedicated over 40 years to studying martial arts and holds the rank of 10th degree black belt Grand Master from the esteemed Dillman Karate International.
He also served as the former Indiana representative for the Federation of United Martial Artists Crusade Against Crime.
